We bought this tent a few weeks ago, and used it last weekend. We managed to get the tent up in roughly 20 mins, with practice i'm sure we could beat this time! The bag has instructions on the inside, but for extra help, we also referred to the video from the website. Once the air tunes were inflated, the tent will begin the take shape and its literally a matter of pegging it down and your good to go! We had torrential rain for our camping stay, which wasn't the best, but it certainly put the tent to the test. Not one bit of rain got in, and after reading a previous review that said the front section's ground sheet isn't sewn in - we were a little worried if it rained. Well, worry not as it was fine for us!
The sleeping area is so spacious, we fit in two double air beds plus a single air bed. It was so cosy and it goes really dark with all zips shut! Inside also has plenty of little hooks for lanterns, lots of pockets for storage also.
When taking the tent down, we found this really easy too and it will go back into the bag providing you follow the correct folding instructions. We're really happy with our purchase, although quite expensive, it's well worth the money. And it looks so impressive amongst all the other regular tents! : )
I bought this tent for a weekend family gathering in the New forest, I have two small children and the black out was a godsend. Obv it isnt pitch black however kept the tent cooler (in the recent 30 degree plus heat we have been having) Kids slept until 7am which was amazing. Some reviews have complained about the ground sheet not be sew in - I actually likes this made it easier to unclip in the day and let some air through and made it easier for cleaning. This was the 1st time we got it out the bag and It was up in 15 mins - 5 pumps into each tube and it was standing. We had loads of space for the 5 of us and all slept really well (as far as camping goes). We had no issues mentioned by other bad reviews and I think this is one of the best tents I have seen. We had everyone come for a look from the campsite and they were all very impressed. I cannot comment on waterproof and rain as it was dry all weekend. This tent is fabulous and I cannot wait to get planning for the next weekend adventure!
It took 2 of us less than 30 Mins to put this up and that was taking it slow as it was the first time. I think I’m future it would be up easily in 10-15 Mins start to finish.
There may be some confusion with the main door zip however it isn’t broken, the top zip needs to be put to the top of the panel and the bottom to the bottom of the panel. This will allow you to vent the top if you like and give you access from the bottom.
The sewn in ground sheet is better than a normal pinned to the floor ground sheet. The ’bucket’’ allows for a bit more protection.
The black out sleeping compartment was a dream, lovely!
We used the tent in an awful storm, thunder / lightening, wind and heavy rain - it withstood it without a problem. I was very impressed!
There is loads of room, a fantastic tent and I would definitely recommend it.
Disappointed as the ground sheet is not sewn in making the tent exposed in high winds and rain.
There is no way the lip at the front can be secured up, as it was raining, water was coming inside the tent.
Space is good.
Bag is quite bulky.
I bought this tent from the Southampton store and couldn’t believe the poor quality of it. The zip was broken and took me a while to fix and when I did eventually get into the tent, the inner tent was absolutely covered in loose threads and torn stitching. I took it back for a refund.
