Chain cleaner not!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Does not do the job as intended. Jams up and is useless. The chain does not turn the internal brushes as intended. Got a refund. Bought Park tools cleaner instead for about £3 more.

Please feel free to return it to us for a refund or an exchange with your receipt.

A toothbrush would be quicker

Pretty terrible really. I've had chain cleaners before and all been great. My last one being broken by my 6 year old i picked one of these up from Decathlon. All looked good with a nice locking mechanism, what could go wrong? Once fitted and turning the crank as per instructions it just kept locking up. On closer inspection the wheels inside are cheaply put together and don't sit solidly in there respective slots. Whatever was happening in there made the chain lock up inside so unable to turn the crank. I suppose i may have been unlucky and purchase a faulty one. However, the internal components appear cheep and i would doubt it's longevity therefore it's going back for a refund. I have ordered a Park Tool chain cleaner from Wiggle that i know from experience are the dogs danglements!! Would advise anyone to do the same.
Response of the brand
Thank you for your constructive comments regarding this chain cleaner. I have forwarded them on to the person in charge of this item at b'Twin. It may well have been a one off faulty unit but if you are not confident in the product then please return it to us for a refund or an exchange.
