Can't wait to use it for 3 weeks in Lossiemouth Scotland in the summer..
Excellent value and ideal size for me and my 8 year old daughter..
Obviously in Scotland the hydrostatic head and windproof are both factors that need to considered and the Arpenaz 4.1 is ideal for those conditions as we expect rainy days the window is an important factor in our decision to..
Thank you Decathalon for your excellent service to.
Easy to put up....and take down. comfy, lots of great features. Using it for 2 people and it's palatial.
I used the tent last weekend and after a couple of trial runs at home found It quick and easy to erect by myself. Fortunately it was not too windy as that may have made it more difficult.
The only issue I found was that the poles were about 4 cm too long so that when the tent was up, the skirt on the right hand side (looking from the front) was flat on the ground but the skirt on the left had side where the tensioning straps are was hardly touching the ground. I think that if it had been wet and windy the rain would have run off the tent and onto the ground sheet. Apart from that, very impressed with the tent.
Great tent, very easy to erect and take down. Got pitching up and down to 20mins easy. Good space in sleeping room forbdouble blow up and necessary items. Good space in living area for two camp chairs, mini fridge, few bags etc. stood up to 40degs sunshine, and a good torrential down poor without leaks. Even able to get everything back im the stow bag after taking it down - never been able to do that before with a tent. Definately recommend this tent for use by a couple. You could get a couple of young children in also, but get the next size up for a family, well worth the price for this tent and next size up as we know friends that have that one also. Recommended!
We purchased this item for use by 2 people- absolutely ideal. Plenty of room and you can stand up in the front section.
Great tent, which is such good value for the money paid. It has loads of room in both the sleeping area and lounge. I had a porta potti tucked up in the corner and we still had room for 2 chairs and various storage boxes. It rained hard in Snowdonia, but no leaks or issues from the outer tent or the tough groundsheets. If you take time to put this tent up properly, you have got a bargain.Loads of room for 2 and 3 adults, cosy with 4.
Great tent, really good water resistance... I'm a heavy user with it being out at least 8 weekends a year for being away doing sports and A week long training camp yearly & I have had this tent for 3 years now. Plenty of storage room in the front for equipment/using to socialize in with plenty of height (not quite enough for me to stand though but I am 6'5"). Has stood up to torrential downpours & strong gales alike! All the poles still in good nick (touch wood, still haven't had to use the included pole repair kit!) & the only sign of wear is along the seams of where the poles go. Couldn't recommend it enough, the only thing I have had o do is get more pegs as some have been lost/become unusable with wear & tear!
Our first time camping and tent purchased influenced by other reviews
Pitch tent in your garden first and practice putting up and packing away
Use the videos and you tube clips to help
It’s waterproof providing you follow the instructions!!
We stayed on Mull and certainly tested it to the max in what must have been over force 6 and torrential rain. Suggest more substantial tent pegs for windy conditions.
Overall a good tent and well designed and compact
We bought this tent for 2 of us as our old tent was a very large family tent. It's relatively easy to put up but this is our first time using this weekend and the rain is pouring in through the ventilation Into the living area. The worrying thing is that the rain is supposed to get worse
Needed a tent quickly easy to put up warm no condensation. I’m 6’1” and could stand up easily
