Value for money !
Used for More than 2 years
Used for children's under 5 yrs of age. Will learn to balance cycle and practice different manoeuvres.
Tyres and clamps are of low quality
Used for 1 week or less
Tyres quality is very low and cannot be used on tar roads although they are not meant to be ridden on those roads, kids to have some fun should be able to take the bike in non-flat bumpy roads or ground. Clamp as mentioned by other reviewers is a low quality but you can fix it from local cycle repair shop or by yourself.
Break assembly
Used for 3 to 6 months
Can we get hand break assembly for the balance bike
Handle Bar spinning
Used for 1 week or less
Just collected the bike from the store. The handle bar spins and even comes out. Clamp design is very bad.
Response of the brand
Hello Sachin,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The problem seems to be with the bike assembly. The handle bar needs to be fixed again. Please get the bike to the workshop of the closest decathlon store. In case the threading of the handle bar is roughened we will replace the bike after the store examines the same.

balance bike
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I had problem with it, the handle bar spinnig in the frame, we tide up properly but the handle bar still spinning aroung, my son couldnt use it. we bought a different crew and we fixed it, but some times still spinning. But my son love is.
Bad design of fasteners
Used for 1 week or less
It looks fantastic and seems sturdy. However, the fastening system doesn't work. As I was tightening the bolt the steering bar could always move independently of the wheel. At the end something snapped inside it and the tightening bolt just spins in place. Too bad as my son was so excited when he saw it and can't use it.
Response of the brand
Hello Sir,

Sorry to hear that you've had problems with the tightening of the steerer causing the bars to turn and not the wheel also. I'd suggest you take it back to your local store for an exchange and see if there is someone there who can build the new one for you. Most stores would do this free of charge.

Time to move up
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
My grandson had a plastic scoot along trike like most kids, we got this balance bike as the next stage. Our 3 kids all had the traditional stabilizers so was sceptical but he got straight on and was riding like he'd had this bike for months, a real must have if you want a simle transition from 'baby' trike to 'big' bike.
