(2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.

Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable,e under wind speeds measuring 50 km/h at ground level.
Poles, pegs.
All our fibreglass poles are subjected to a double quality control to ensure excellent resistance to breaking. quality control ensures excellent resistance to breaking. Pegs have excellent twisting resistance (5 mm diameter steel).
Filters UV rays
The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door.

Product test
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.

Stockage tips
Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Maintenance tips
1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then leave to dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS - Can be very hard to remove Once the stain is fully dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Need replacement pole kit

This tent is very spacious and of marvellous build quality. However, after having used this for a little over an year, some of it's poles have started breaking. Need a replacement pole kit for this tent.
Family tent
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
We originally brought this four man tent because we wanted a cheap tent to put up in the garden over the summer holidays so we could sleep out a couple of nights. This tent only takes minutes to put up and we love it! It's very spacious inside and love the porch area where we have played board games in it! We will be taking this tent with us for weekends away due to the compact size when it's packed away. So far it's held up well to the rain all day today and can't wait to go away with it.
I use this tent in the rainforest. & its great
Used for 1 week or less
I use this tent for camping at rain forest. after purchasing I use this tent at matheran rain forest in monsoon. & its very nice tent for me.
Lack of QC for product
Used for 1 week or less
The product was assembled wrongly at the factory which resulted in a frustrating setting up. By the time the error was discovered and corrected, what should have been just a 1/2 hr setup already took more than 2 hrs which was extremely frustrating!

The product was generally good, though the worker assembling it at the factory obviously requires retraining. Ventilation in the tent can also be improved.

Excellent value
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
My husband and I used this tent to tour round France for three weeks.
The sleeping space is generous and the living space big enough to store our cooking equipment and for us to sit
the tent is quick and easy to put up and quite robust. Excellent value for the money. We had very good weather so don't know how waterproof it is but there is a good amount of space between the outer and inner fabrics.
Good one
Used for 1 week or less
It's just a week. Good one but initially it Couldn't withstand the breeze. Not aware exactly of t wind speed. Later we had to put it in other place. Overall a good one. Easy to assemble. Ventilation could have been little more better. Overall happy with it.

Well made and easy to put up as well. Plenty of room inside and spacious porch area. We purchased a footprint as well for the porch. Hammered down with rain on the only night we did not use it. But it was bone dry inside when checked the following morning.

Can anyone advise where i can purchase ground sheet for the front portion for this product? I would be traveling to Karakoram ranges, Himayalas on June 15 2018. Will write a review post from camping trip.
Response of the brand
Hello Sir,

Thanks for writing to us, below are some suggestions from Quechua, By Decathlon to your query about a ground sheet.

> Ground Sheet (2*2.5M) - Waterproof, wear and puncture-resistant. (polyethylene 120 g/m²)  -
> Ground Sheet (3*4M) - Waterproof, wear and puncture-resistant. (polyethylene 120 g/m²) -
> Plaid Fabric (1.4*1.7M) -  Water repellent fabric provides insulation from dampness, is comfortable to sit on for small meal breaks -

As the balcony of the tent you mention is 2.6*1.75M, the ground sheet of size 2*2.5M should suffice.

Hope this helps.
