I bought these before going on a sailing trip. When on the trip the glasses where amazing however 4 days into the trip there was an incident that would have changed my life if it had not been for the glasses. A rope with a metal hook swung around at around 60 mph, hitting my right eye with such force it smashed the glasses and the hook was inflanted into them. Had it not been for these super strong glasses I would more than probably be blind in my right eye. I now have another pair and am very happy
Very strong good at cutting glare
Very good shades, good for very bright sun on the white beaches of Barbados. Loved them - as I'm sure is the local island boy now wearing them...
Fit, float, light weight
My son lost them on Day 3!
Bought these for a 2month sailing trip from Southampton. Found they are excellent while sailing, glare from sunlight on the ocean is completely cut giving superior views, and their build quality is also superb. Only problem i found was that their 'enclosed' nature didn't allow great airflow so would internally steam up when hot and in an area with poor airflow [ie: no wind]. Otherwise very good. Also stood up to many bumps and scrapes without damage - a problem i often find with sunglasses is the frames snap easily.
I actually lost my first pair and have come back to buy another pair as they are that good for the price!
comfortable to wear, sturdy construction
lenses cloud up often due to 'enclosed' frame
I have been using it extensively ever since I bought it and I have no complaints except for the cleaning and maintenance bit for the lenses. The view (minus the blue light) gives an entirely different perspective to looking at clouds.
well designed frame
the plastic lens gets stained very very easily
