The internal part of the disc is also rubberised which makes removing the 20kg plate from the bar beyond difficult, product was clearly not tested.

All our products have to pass several tests to be launch on the market but we need this kind of feedback to create products always more close to the needs of customers. This weight costs a little more than the non coated Metal one.but worth the cost as there is no clanging of metal when lifting.

I mainly use the 10 Kg rubber weights on my straight & curling bars as I can simply place the bars on the floor in my house without worrying about damaging the floor.
For additional resistance, I usually add smaller iron weights. And, for dumbbells, I now only use iron weights as it can be annoying when the rubber washer from the collar adheres to them!
The reason I use weights from Decathlon is that they are available in 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10 & 20 kg discs. I have spent years fluffing about, trying to work out do I add another two 2.5 Kg discs & how many 1.25 Kg discs do I need to take off etc. Using Domyos weights & bars is by far the simplest way to do it.

Good Rubber Disc,Would go for Same brand in Future. Even if its dropped, the floor would not be damaged.
